Northeim Gap, 80km S of Hannover, Germany: [Best played against Human opponent] Facing chaos on both fronts, the German Army was reduced to reacting to one crisis after another in the closing weeks of World War II. Old played-out units were refitted at reduced strength and new formations were created from remnants of totally decimated divisions or by activating training and reserve units with little or no combat experience. These units were issued a mixture of whatever equipment was available from the rapidly declining production base. Just as the composition of these scratch units was unpredictable so was their quality. Some of the newly organized units proved to be quite deadly and still full of fight, especially when armed with Germany's finest tanks and tank destroyers. One such unit was Kampfgruppe Ettner equipped with a number of the dwindling supply of Tigers and King Tigers. As Task Force Hogan, spearheading the 3rd Armored Division, crossed the Leine River and moved east toward the Elbe River the American tankers suddenly found themselves in a swirling armored dogfight for the Northeim Gap with KG Ettner's panzers.

Good little scenario; the Germans have the armor advantage, as usual, but the Allies have lots of smoke, which gives them an excellent fighting chance.

A classic.

End of Summer Tournament Game..
...really have to stick your neck out to win as the Americans....but still a great scenario IMHO...
Balanced and with a lot of interesting opportunities for both sides. Nice complex terrain in Europe.

Scenario has great OOBs, a nice map, and obtainable victory conditions. Requires players with superb armor handling skills to win. Sneaky LOS. A classic!

One of the best small scenarios. Like most good scenarios, a lot of strategic options for both players.

"Still Full of Fight" is a tense "cat and mouse" armor encounter that pits some of the "creme de la creme" German and American AFVs against each other! Map is small, but allows options for both sides and features some tricky LOS. Late war armor has long range cannons! Every unit plays a specific and critical role in this encounter. There is no cannon fodder and the platoons that are lost, I guarantee commanders will wish they could get them back! The scenario rewards players who adopt sound combined arms tactics and will severely punish those who forget! Players need to be "right" on each move because one or two mistakes and it is "game over!" "Still Full of Fight" is a "classic" scenario... with a good replay value. It is a scenario that should be played often by players looking for a quick and tense armor encounter!
