Humain, 24km E of Dinant, Belgium: [Best played as Axis] One of the first signs that the German offensive was reaching its high tide came around the little Belgian town of Humain. Starting on the 23rd of December, the town began changing hands regularly as one Axis or Allied column after another passed through. The German Panzer Lehr Division's Kampfgruppe von Fallois had driven elements of the American 4th Cavalry Group out of the town on Christmas morning in a two pronged attack. However by midday they were engaged in turn by elements of the U.S. 2nd Armored Division. The southern prong of the Kampfgruppe was driven out of Havenne and the Americans continued southward to attempt to relieve the beleagured 84th Infantry Division's Rochefort garrison. The 4th Cavalry Group's armored cars and light tanks were tasked with defeating the Germans' northern force and retaking Humain. It was defended by a small but battle hardened combined arms team with panther tanks, infantry and artillery. Von Fallois and his men had faced overwhelming odds before; they settled in for the fight. The Americans called for infantry and tank reinforcements from 2nd Armored Division and readied their attack. All in all it was going to be a lousy Christmas for von Fallois' Panzertruppen and for Col. John McDonald's cavalrymen.

This was one horrible PBEM experience. A most unbalanced scenario that would need a tremendous amount of work to make it balanced for H2H play. Awful.

Waste of time. Too bad, since the approach to the objectives could be a challenge for the allies due to a pretty good map.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blast on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly

The designer could have put in German reinforcements. Such a small defending force against such a large attacking force.
I don't think even playing against the AI would be fun.

Strictly for play against Allies AI only.
