Libyan/Egyptian Frontier, 15 June 1941: Operation Brevity had taught the Germans several lessons about the construction, and operation, of their frontier strong points. During the latter part of May, and the first part of June, improvements were made, including a significant increase in the quantity, and quality, of anti-tank weapons. Provision stockpiles were also increased to the point that the Germans considered their frontier posts impregnable. Nevertheless, the offensive mindset was still strong and panzer reserves were positioned for a quick response. On the British side, Battleaxe was to be a repeat of the Brevity tactics with an increased force level. The 7th Armoured Brigade, the "Desert Rats", had been brought back up to strength with new arrivals. Significantly, the Matilda force, a tank that had proved very hard for the Germans to kill, had been more than doubled. It again turned out, however, that the Germans were learning, and adapting, faster than the British. The 88mm Flak guns employed in the frontier positions for the first time shredded the Matildas and, based on radio intercepts, the Germans were able to concentrate both their Panzer Regiments against the lone British Armoured Brigade. Edited by: Edward "Volcano Man" Williams. PDT and OOB files slightly altered to reflect small scale tactical desert warfare of the period. [Size: medium, Length: 25 turns] *This scenario has been approved at H2H Productions*

this was a round 2 tourney game ; one of the most enjoyable scn available
Thunder in the Desert Tournament match
Dont see how the DAK has any hope of a win in the scenario.
Steel God
It could be my imagination, but the H2H version almost felt more unbalanced than the stock version. We're going to turn the game around and see if we get the same results.
Dog Soldier
More of a slugfest at the wire than a run and gun fight deep in the Axis rear.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Dog Soldier
Both sides have a lot of options how to approach this fight. Very fun to play over and over again.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Very fluidic battle in terms of mobility. Mobility then gets hung up by very strong Axis defensive positions.

I thought it was a decent simulation of the poor British battle plan with Battle Axe
