They also have the much needed cavalry support that they lacked in the historical battle. To counter the additional French forces the Allies will release almost immediately.

Worthy of being called a balanced game

Quite balanced. Tho dont know how the result would be if French doesnt pull back immediately when game starts. Cavalry reinforcements help French for a more balanced game i believe.

It's really difficult for the allied player to keep attacking the French position with a whole division of D-rate infantry. On the other hand, if the French player do not retire on the objective early in the game, it might get his forces divided and beaten in detail.
