About the Scenario Name
The tile of the scenario comes from the ring that exists in the Nibelungenlied and made popular by Wagner in his opera. It's based on the idea that 5th Panzer went through multiple cycles of combat during German attempts to stem Operation Bagration. Each cycle involved a specific operation involved in countering Soviet attacks. So it was linking that concept of multiple events with a similar series of events as in Wagner's opera.

Big map. Various cross-country terrain. Big variability of tactical plans for both sides.

Long, a lot of "work" .. but worth it.
