I think the game is very balanced. I made a major blunder at the start of the game. Without that I'm sure the game result would have been closer.

Small map, fighting patrol v outpost size skirmish. But blighted by poor visibility it was near impossible being overwhelmed by so many automatic weapons at close range.
I marked it low for the allied player but probably more fun for the attacker

This was a very interesting and challenging scenario – all infantry. Now I can see that the Americans had very few resources – I thought I was light, but still had 28 men vs 16. Plus I had some artillery support. My opponent mentioned issues with LOS, which I often have with this game, but was especially critical to him as he needed to see any incursion over the bridge and somehow – my men were invisible as they crossed. I thought it was not easy from the German side, but I think the Ami needed some more support (Artillery, better LOS conditions or another MMG) to really make it hard for the Axis. Nevertheless, I thought it was only slightly in favor of the German, as a few more casualties would make all the difference.
