Well balanced, a great map, and guaranteed to be an entertaining scrap

I think it is winnable from either side; for the Axis to manage the attack on the ridge (Axis left) I think would require better coordination between artillery and infantry than I had. Polish reinforcements late turned the battle. There is a lot of room for maneuver on this map, but not a lot of cover. It was a lot of fun to play on.

Polish player probably got too many tanks but always hard to say with panthers. Those things are a lot of points so if you lose a couple things swing south very quickly.

This is a large and well made scenario. Well trained veteran German force goes up against a larger but less trained/experienced Polish force. I would say Polish armor is adequate to take on superior German machines but it is in no way a gimme. In my game I played as Polish and won a major victory.

The sides have objectives that are both known and unknown to the other side, an aspect I like. Reinforcements for both sides seem well timed and thought out.

The map is large rolling countryside. There are major road corridors, farmland, orchard, dense forest, scattered farm houses and barns. Plenty of cover/concealment and options for approach in this one. Also plenty of open space for long shots and observation if properly played.
Sometimes I'm around a lot and can get many turns done, other times I can't. I'll always finish the games.

Definitely a battle that can go either way. German quality vs Allied quantity!
