There's no room between the Allied and Axis setups, so the Allies can open fire immediately if the Axis sets up forward in their zone. The Axis attack is a slog through terrain perfectly designed for ambushes, and only through the right plan, skill in positioning armor, and a fair bit of luck can the Axis hope to win.

Very challenging for the attackers. The setup zone for the Allies is a little too close to the Axis for my liking, allowing the Allies to engage on the first turn if the Axis setup forward in their zone. It seems possible for the Axis to win, with a fair bit of luck and a lot of skill.

I enjoyed the use of flame weapons on both sides - it added a nice dimension to the game that we do not see often.

Tough tense little engagement on a great looking map. I held out as my opponent was maybe a little over-cautious for too long but it could easily go either way this battle.

one of my platoons got stuck in one of the small barrack-like buildings since the first few turns. I spent the entire rest of the game trying to move them out.
nice little tough scenario. not having any unit capable of detecting mines when mines are deployed was a bit harsh

Defence is very easy as the defender has 2 very easy to defend areas with excellent cover.
"But I don't want to see CM's code or any games code. That is like seeing your spouse and your love as hormones and neurons firing in various lobes on PET scans. Some things should just be enjoyed for what they are; and not analyzed any further.
