Alternative game rules 20 Jan 2018
Several players have expressed interest in the rules some of us use to try and solve certain gamey or faulty aspects of SP.  As such, I offer the rules myself and several of my opponents have worked on to try and solve certain things.  

If others would like to post their game settings please meet the following:

1.  Word format
2.  Easily read and understood, examples provided if needed
3.  Version and date.

***Newest version of the games rules as of 20 January 2018.  Some sections were reworded for clarity, a couple of examples were added, and MGs being used as artillery was added as an optional rule along with z-fire firefights.***

A small change, not worth rewriting the document for. Please amend your document as follows:

Artillery rule 5, Optional artillery patterns: Please delete the word "optional", players may now either call in rounds on a single hex and allow the pattern to disperse and stay that way, or at their discretion they may plot a formation but each turn they must rebuild the formation on any impact hex. You cannot switch an active shoot on a hex between the two, either it is a single hex shoot or a formation, but you cannot make it both.
