Alternative game rules and bare bone rules amended 25 Mar 18
Several players have expressed interest in the rules some of us use to try and solve certain gamey or faulty aspects of SP.  As such, I offer the rules myself and several of my opponents have worked on to try and solve certain things.

If others would like to post their game settings please meet the following:

1.  Word format
2.  Easily read and understood, examples provided if needed
3.  Version and date.

Hope these help others.

Bare bone rules

These are what I consider to be the best of the rules while getting rid of the stuff that adds some realism but may bog players down.

(03-28-2015, 05:18 AM)...faulty aspects of SP. Wrote: As I have said before, the current version of the game accounts for vehicle movement through trees (though the 'disable' probability is way too low). To assign a in-play limitation to vehicle movement is excessive.

Hmm, lets see, every fallen log in these pictures will have a huge possibility of throwing a track.  Every stump will either center hang you, or throw a track.  The entire route will have to be done with pivot steering IF you can fit your tank between the trees, which will once again provide a very large chance of throwing a track and is why you don't pivot steer a tank but road steer it (like a normal car).

That silly movies show tanks driving through forests and knocking down trees does not make it so in RL.  All of the above reasons are why you DO NOT drive your tanks in forests.
