I did this a month ago, and thought that it was time for a little update. Not that it is a huge deal, other then for a little friendly "bragg'in rights".
The time frame is in the last 12 months with at least 10+ games completed.

Which are the most important ratings, ELO or win%?

Maths are a mystery to me..:)

It depends on who you are - win% is just that, while ELO takes into account the quality of your opponents.

ELO is better for bragging (refuting any suggestion of beating up on minnows) but the system must be broken, I can't see myself on any of these lists.

I've now reached the top so here I go -> "Brag"

I'm still not sure I know how to read the ladder properly, but according to the current Aug 08 ELO chart (below) for the last 12 months I'm the Blitz Ladder Leader..
As is well known,I don't go in for bragging, but if I did could I now legitimately boast that I've topped 4 separate club ladders over the past 5 years? (Rugged Defense/ Appui-Feu/ WPC/ Blitz)..

I wallowed in the Sun for the 8 hours of so that I was ELO leader, but my time is over.

Why yes I guess you can say that, now that the traditional ELO leaders have all been banned for their behavior.

Incidentally who's Scrat, (ranked 4th) he's only played one game in 12 months, is he still around?
Same with some dood called '10th Mtn Div jdsu' at 5th,I've never heard of him.

PS- Maybe the ladder should only feature people who've played at least 12 games in a year to prove they're active Blitz members and not just occasional drive-bys sitting on a few good results..;)

I've been banned from their clubs ladders so it cuts both ways..
