Notes on Round 3
having tried a few ideas in round 2 and carefully noting the feedback I have settled on the format for the remaining battles which may be of interest to all players.
While there will still be T&H and S&D battles there will be 2 major changes.
1.) Time limits will be increased from 20 to 25 turns and in some cases 30.
2.) Points available for players will be from a set number not from the system used in round 2 of CORE+Points. Now the system will be Points only, the core must be bought from this number.
I may make some minor modifactions in other areas but overall things have worked ok, its just been the time and the points ratios that have been problems, players report plenty of action so that is good and I hope to retain the tactical element that many of the maps/games have had as well as the tough challenges that have been dished out to players but I will give more time to make the objectives and put the core forces back into the overall buy/points structure. I feel this should fix most of the problems that have occurred.
But if players would like to make suggestions then feel free to.
