You're right there...we are currently considering our options with the Classic Wargames Ladder. To keep or kill? If keep, who to install to provide it some life and reorganization?
We are reluctant to kill something if even a few players are interested in the genre, but at some point you need to ask if the juice is worth the squeeze.

I also think it would be a real shame to see this ladder close. I think it has so much potential. There are lots of games out there that could be placed under it's wing. New games exciting games and of course the old classics that still get played all could find a home here. And I think activity would bring activity. I'm sure there are enough people out there playing on other ladders of the blitz that also dabble in games that would or could fall under the Classic bracket. The work involved getting everything sorted however would be huge. Yet just because something is difficult does not mean it should not be attempted.
