Well, I´m not beer snob, just a curious alcoholist Big Grin

I remember when I tasted some hungarian homemade beer that has alcohol % of 25-30 (I know that you can´t make this strong beer with normal methods). At night I got hallucinations and my friends found me sitting on kitchen table and listening manovar in middle of night.

Good stuff.

My brits have suffered only minor casualties. I fear things will change soon, just got files from chris...

Nope, me neither. Bombers cannot be plotted during game play, they must be plotted during setup, which of course we don't get to do so they are phantom units. Also now the brits are showing up with more toys to give me more headaches. Very steep fight for the Germans. FJ are almost all dead now and so far my claim to fame has been beating a few home guards.

Hopefully all the other Germans are being clobbered too so I score ok. Chin

How goes your assault?

I'm still to start, so there are on game of Germans intact for Klanx. Big Grin Maybe he decided to go easy on me by not showing up. lol
I Still have a few units still struggling to get off the beach mostly in the east......my FJ units are fairing pretty good light casualties among them ...... It doesn't appear the turn count will permit capturing all the flags
The He 111 were a bit of flavour for the scenario, they are completely out of the players control.
Any word from Dan(Klanx171) on a start ???

Lyme Regis got bombed on turn 0, that's probably the HE111s.

Well, it's turn 7 and first Germans are starting to move inwards in village on the middle and on west. On east the Germans are closing on the first line of trenches manned by HG. The paras have pinned down one field arty battery on northeast but are under heavy mortar fire themselves and suffered heavy losses. Other paras on nortwest are in the woods and being attacked by at least platoon worth of British rifle-men and suffering casualities. All in all this could be going better but at least my paras are drawing Brits in terms of both men and arty-fire. The defenses on shores looks to be quite light and the naval gun is excellent!Smg

Which turn is it? I agree that it seems extremely difficult to get all of the VLs. It would require rapid advance inwards by the rifle-companies and maximum effort from paras getting some rear VLs.

Ahh, I remember Dan talking about a bombing raid but P2 doesn't get to see stuff like that on turn1 replay. Makes sense.
