Well it gives you something to do while your SS boys get chewed to ribbons by my Serbians!

Did you manage to get yours off the beach? So far all my boys are pinned by shore batteries and indirect arty. Hopefully I will present the Brits with so many targets that he will have to spread his arty out

I have a few units that have moved about 150 yds inland but a lot are still on the beach supressed.....one potential problem Germans are retreating east to west sometimes right into the laps of the Brits....How any turns before the Para's are fully armed?

That's seeing the glass as half empty. While the boys in feldgrau retreat west ... ideally into oblivion ... the local boys retreat east. And there's a lot of pent-up Jerry aggression waiting to the east!

At least, in my experience ...

About the same as me. My FJ are reloading very stupidly....grenades first (40!!) then AT mines, then rifle and last lmg. My AT rifles are loading the same way, primary weapon last.

FJs land armed with pistols and handgrenades, they get 20 pieces of ammo per turn per canister, rifles take 80, mgs 60 and god knows how many for the riflegrenade (or mines or what ever that fourth pieces was). It takes 8 turns to arm one FJ from one canister. That's how my paras are doing the thing, sounds like Chris has a different order which shouldn't be possible.
In testing they always started at the top of the list, rifles first (FJ reloads).
I thought I'd adjusted everyones rally hexes so they retreat inland (British) to the beach (german). I think you can still change it if there's a problem.
LOL. So THAT is the reason why there were ammo boxes dropped with paras. You know, I had no idea paras have actually arm themselves before rushing into battle. Just installed spww2 for this tournament...

By the way, is the penetration capabilities of those guns edited majorly? I somehow refuse to believe that 18pounder gun can hit trasport wessel making no damage.

For queen and the country!
Hi Henri!

Special para rule for this game, normally they do land with their full ammo loads.

It will be interesting when my Paras land on turn 20 if they take 8 moves to gear up Sad Sad Sad

British ammo in 1940 was mostly WW1 stuff anyway, surprised they actually explode, never mind damaging our "battleships" Smile

Alex
Well, I just hope germans will get sick of british beer and decide to leave shortly after landing Wink
