Dan, set me up with some Thexder next round, please. I've got to see this Wehrmacht Jedi in action.
Well, based on this the feeling is not mutual
- there seems to be another jedi, way more familiar with the force - that has been overcome by the dark side:
Is there any german players who has upper hand in this battle?
ROFLMAO
I had three objectives and about 50 men alive in the end.
yes, at turn 14 I had such grand illusions also
And I still leave room for a surprise or should I say intensification of THE surprise. It may be that there's lots I don't see and a world of hell is right next door to my poor Germans...

I wouldn't have the slightest idea what you're talking about, but would like to introduce you to my young assistant, Darth Tommy. He'd be more than happy to help with your deployments for the next round ...

Heh, yeah I read it again myself and it wasn't very clear. Just wanted to say that I noticed you dealt a bloody nose to the number one in the ladders so I'm not exactly jumping in exitement if I'll be against your jedies
. Of course it's always nice to have challenges and learn new tricks. We'll see what happens next turn...

I was being disingenuous. Your post was perfectly clear. That was supposed to be humor of the "Who? Me?" variety.

My style's more akin to Wookie than Jedi. Long on excited arm-waving and sledgehammer tactics, short on deodorant.
Of course it's always nice to have challenges and learn new tricks. We'll see what happens next turn...
That's always the beauty part of it. Good luck.

TURN 22:
Fierce battles on several locations throughout the map. My Germans are in control of 13/21 of the VLs but both sides have chances of (re)claiming several more. Casualty figures high on both sides as the Germans go up against defensive instalments and Brits are killed on the open by arty and men inside buildings. The Brits still have some aces on their sleeves against which I have to come up with something

...

Thexder
What? I sent it to you, Im waitin on you. I ll resend again.

Oof. Hurry please, gentlemen. All of these dead Germans are starting to smell, and if you delay much longer Thexder will have taken Glasgow, probably with a depleted squad armed with a rusty Mauser 98 and some really large spoons.
I'm eager to begin Round 2.

TURN 26:
I still have 13 (or maybe 14, I'm not sure) VLs and wont probably be able to get more

. The ones on the western hills are really difficult and a couple of dozen Germans have died in the fire from those AA-guns. The Brits still have chances of getting 1-3 VLs back so my efforts have shifted from trying to get more to preserving what I've got. This will be over soon and my guess is that the points are something like 2000 vs. 3000 to my advantage. I should also be killed more men, maybe 1:1,33.

So the dust have landed and broken British forces withdrawn from the area (I guess

). These are the results from Thexder vs. John(txic):
(Germany first):
VLs: 13 vs. 8
Points: 3409 vs. 2378
Casualities: 533 vs. 732
rarely I've seen so many men dying in a single battle! But on the other hand there must have been at least 1200 Germans landing from the sea and sky. Very good scenario, quite even.
Waiting for the cross-roads battle now
