Is AWOL from a game I am playing as well.
Its just frustrating, doesnt hurt to say you dont want to continue a game or just surrender.
Especialy as his profile say's he's visited everday.

If you gave him fair warning and it's been two weeks, declare victory and report it. Not as satisfying as a straight up win, but not fair to you to just let it drop if you were winning.
Snert is also AWOL fom our Pennisula Oak Grove battle. As I was winning-I plan to claim victory as of August 7-if no there is resumption by his Snertness.
