Well the US mechanized restriction limited the US side in a way that gave the German player an advantage - and I think that showed up in the results as the vast majority of victories were by the Axis.
What exactly was the advantage the axis had in round 1?

Round 1 & Round 3 will be fought on the Village map using Parameter set A in both battles.
Round 2 and 4 will be fought on the Forest Hell map using Parameter set B in both battles.
The parameters in Parameter Set A are different to those in Set B.

To be honest I'm not sure. I haven't had detailed feedback on what was tippling the balance in the Axis favour.
