Yea, because if my men had run away in the right direction I would have definitely prevailed in our match up. You didnt waste one second exploiting this gamey feature, as you constantly made sure my men were running away.

What can I say - I am a gamey Censored - Shark2

hey Vulture:

Just sent setup file for round two to Nort.....
I remember that happening in one of the CMAK Infantry tourney battles...just the one mind you. Was highly entertaining Smile
I have sent Battle 2 set-up to my opponent Andre.
I have sent set-up to my opponent in round 2, Falco.

Cheers

Am I the only one who thinks that is unfair that the Axis players get an obvious advantage in the first round:

Quote:
The Round 1 game results thus far clearly indicate a bias towards the Axis forces. The parameters in this Round 2 battle will hopefully ensure this doesn't happen again.

But when it is time for the allied players to play Axis that advantage is removed. Thus all those that played Axis in the first round will have had an considerable advantage in this tourney.

I dont see why we dont play one more round with the "unbalanced" settings to rebalance the tourney as a whole.

Either that or throw out the results of round 1.

Fullhouse

Just to clarify the position, because of the problems with game balance in CMAK in this period I have had to amend my original plan, which was to fight the four battles in Phase 1 on 4 different maps.  Each player player playing 2 games as Axis and 2 as Allied.

I have now changed this to fighting 4 battles on 2 different maps.    That way each player will get to fight over each map twice, once as the Allies and once as the Axis (using the same settings).

That way it is absolutely fair to everyone.

I hope that clears up your concerns Smile

But it appears from your website that the axis will have a 10% handicap and a force restriction for round 2.

What exactly was the advantage the axis had in round 1?

With all due respect you are missing the point, or actually more probably it me whose not explaining it very well LOL Smile

Round 1 & Round 3 will be fought on the Village map using Parameter set A in both battles.

Round 2 and 4 will be fought on the Forest Hell map using Parameter set B in both battles.

The parameters in Parameter Set A are different to those in Set B.

Hows that ?
