Hi Vulture....just letting you know my opponent (airborne Bob) & myself are at turn 7 in our battle.   I've spread my forces out to capture all the victory locations early but hes hammering away hard at centre with nearly all his guys.   This could go either way.....stay tuned.

Is that a sense of dread from the 1,000 year Reich.....???

Folks,

The game between MajorVictory and myself has ended in a drawEek

My Heer forces squeeked ahead in points.

A great game against a fine opponent!
cheers

Steve
Any Idea when round 2 will start.
Actually we should be able to do all the "phase 1" rounds simultaneously since the rounds are independent of each other. That is , when the maps, parameters and match ups are available.

I agree Smile I intend to start round 2 very soon. In fact just as soon as I'm happy with the map I'm thinking of using.

Cheers

That's great> I hope soon. I have got too try and redeam myself from what we call where I am from a boneified Hilly Billy A-- Wooppen I took.
vulture, please, please, please - pay attention to the setup zones if you are making a custom map. QBs that load a custom map ignore the friendly map edge settings of the map. For QBs, the allies will always break to the west and the axis will always break to the east (or the other way around - I cant remember). For example, in the round 1 game the units broke to each players right - they didnt run backwards.

btw, this isnt a complaint - just something to be aware of.

Yikes !!! I didn't know that. I'll try to remember that and take it into account in future.

Okay guys, stand by.... More than half the games in round 1 are finished. To keep the momentum going I'm going to start Round 2 tonight Big Grin

I'll be sending an E-Mail out, and uploading the final version of the map to use.

Yea, because if my men had run away in the right direction I would have definitely prevailed in our match up. You didnt waste one second exploiting this gamey feature, as you constantly made sure my men were running away.
