COL T.,
Vulture's silence on your proposal to change the scenario/parameters for Round 5 speaks volumes. I have given it some time but it is now apparent that no changes will be made. Your fate is now sealed. I have just sent you the setup file for our game. Prepare to meet your demise!
Lord Bane
Guys

Apologies to all. After starting the round I've been away with work for several days. I come back to find a bunch of E-Mails, plus some postings on the Blitz forums. For reasons I don't understand the system has stopped notifying me when messages are left on the threads Sad

Anyway, it looks like a bad choice of scenario here. I'm well pissed off. Ever feel like everything you touch turns to shit, well I'm having one of those years at the moment Sad

Before we go any further here, I need to get this sorted.

If your game is in progress please stop it. If you game has yet to start, don't start it.
Eek
I'll get this sorted out today or tomorrow. You all deserve a better gaming experience than the indifferent / rubbish one your about to get if you play this scenario in its current format

Apologies again to all

Vulture
Col T.,
Seems that you have been saved by the bell. No matter, once play resumes, I will Break you!
Lord Bane
LB don't push me. Why do you think vulture suddenly changed hid mind? I have "friends" in low places
I was thinking that his sense of fair play and conscious wouldn't allow him to watch you be massacred by my fast moving German Columns! Sure, at first he probably thought he could handle it. He let your desperate pleas for help go unanswered for days. But all the while the guilt of pairing you up against me was knawing away at him night and day. He knew in his heart that he had thrown you to the lions, or in this case Tigers!
I can just picture him tossing and turning all night long, drenched in perspiration. Finally, after days of anguish, he was unable to take it any more. He lept from his bed and raced, half stumbling, to the computer...hands trembling....he barely managed to type out his message to STOP! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST STOP!!! Then, his conscious finally clear, he probably lapsed in and out of consciousness several times and was finally found slumped over his keyboard and rushed to a hospital to recover.

So, to answer your question, I think that is why he changed his mind. He just couldn't bear the thought of the horriffic, catastrophic, apocolyptic slaughter that was about to befall you. Unfortunately for his health, he has only just postponed your doom!
Lord Bane
Okay guys, I've done the map, just need to playtest and tweak the settings today. Smile

Vulture
Guys

Round 5 re-starts today. I've just posted the Quick Battle map out.

Have a good game.

Cheers

Vulture
ahh, I hate to be a stick in the mud ... but can I play somebody beside Lord Bane.

Errrrrrrrr nope, he's your opponent for the round 5 battle. Smile
