I dont want to be a stick-in-the-mud, but I wonder if you could reconsider this map. there are three issues:

1) I've played this scenario before. It is completely lopsided in favor of the axis. The axis have instant access to control of the flags, so it is basically an allied attack, and the axis has an extra 27% troop count. Not only does the "attacker" have less points, but they are attacking in the snow on an extremely thin map. Regular assault points on this map in these conditions would still favor the defender.

2) Since our match is a QB axis probe, the axis get an extra 40% troop bonus. Furthermore, the allies lose 500 points of reinforcements and the axis only lose about 300. So for this QB, the allies (who is basically the attacker) will get 2250 total points compared to the axis 3328 points (who is basically the defender).

3) The QB facing is wrong, so troops will break towards the enemy. Not to back of the map, and not even to the side. They will break/route & run into the guns of the enemy.

edit to add the real reason (I was hoping nobody else would realize this, but here it is):
4) as if the above three reasons aren't bad enough. I see that you have paired me up against the legendary Lord Bane. Obviously the chances of any level of victory for me are now so low that they are nearly incalculable. I feel that I am just a clump of Silly Putty in Bane's gifted hands. For the love of God man, change the scenario!
Colonel T,
I think that you may have a point with the argument you pose. However, I think that there is actually a fourth grievance/problem that you have. I have gone ahead and taken the liberty to list it out for you.

4) Vulture, as if the above three reasons aren't bad enough. I see that you have paired me up against the legendary Lord Bane. Lord Bane

P.S. Feel free to cut and paste #4 into your original post. Your welcome.
See Lord Bane understands. If I was paired against leto as the allies, well, I could beat him with 1 conscript LMG team
Vulture,
If it is a matter of finding a suitable map for round 5 then I am sure I can help you out. I have 36, 800m x 800m and an additional eight 1200m x 1200m maps that I am using in my Ardennes Campaign that I could send you and I am sure you could find one you like amongst them. As much as I do look forward to, and inevitably will, smash Col T's pitiful forces, I think that he may be right about the current balancing issues of Round 5. Just trying to help out.

Lord Bane
Vulture,
CT and LB make some good points. Is it possible to just switch the German and American setup zones and leave the rest of the battle?

sthdaslkdjfalksdrjh, good thinking.

that would probably make it balanced. especially if the allies were given a setup zone that actually just included the flags.

glad to be of service. I was going to try to spell it correctly but it was too hard.

btw, what the heck does that mean anyway?

[hirr} Leto is correct. When I bought this game I registered at the Battle Front site and tried to use "Oberst" but it and many variations were already taken. So I had to settle for the "other" German rank. I am an active duty Colonel in the Marine Corps.
