very tough for the yanks. Every inf platoon option automatically comes with - what - 5 HTs? With settings like these, that is just way too much.
Agree with col Tavela. I played the axis party but when i had to play the alies i would have bought only engineer platoons. Same fire power and adittional flamethrowers / explosives and no halftracks!
The fact the Americans can at least purchase the pio company without getting 18 HTs makes me feel better for the american players. I hadnt realized that was an option.
Those HT's have flexible MGs though. I am playing as US and dont feel at all disadvantaged yet. On turn 8, I have 2 of the flags, those HTs enabled a quick dash to them. You dont have to leave them there though as they can be in effect, highly mobile infantry squads.
