Guys,
SFS Round 4 matches are suppose to be wrapped up by the May 15th deadline -- in just five days. Some players have emailed and requested extensions, but I've had no word from several other matches that have not concluded or reported in.
And without many sitreps this round, it is tough to know where matches are at -- and whether an extension is necessary.
Please pipe up guys and let me know if you will be done or need some more time.

Thor,
I think we may need a slight extension due to a few delays. We are on turn 16 of 25 in 'Heavy Metal'. I don't think our result will effect the overall standings! Enjoying the scenario though, great fun.
rsa (Roger Anslow/Brad Smith) Doh, can't remember his handle

Hi Mark,
I think Roger is spot on. After a sluggish start, we're now turning around about three turns a week. Sorry if our delay caused you any anxiety, but I think Roger has also hit the nail on the head as far as, to our mutual chagrin, I don't think the outcome of this scenario will affect the overall tourney rankings too much. I can at least speak for myself when saying that I think I've been in a (very enjoyable) race to the bottom!
As an aside, this has been a real cliffhanger of a battle so far. One of the best West Front scenarios I've played, and I'd highly recommend it.
And thanks again for hosting the tourney. I can't say enough how much your hard work is appreciated.
We are on Turn 23 of 25 in Heavy Metal Thunder. Slowed due ot heavy work schedules. With any luck we will be done no later than May 18.
It's a war of attrition now and tanks are exploding each turn, the victor will probably be whoever has the most armor at the end
Hi MArk, Fritz & myself are on turn 10 of 20 in our game, and were averaging 2 - 3 turns a week. If your out there Fritz (Lea) i'm happy to try n step up the pace.
cheers
Robert
Scorched EArth
Guys,
Thanks for the updates.
Still waiting to hear from several others, but I expect we will need about a two week extension. Please keep playing and try to finish by June 1st.
If some matches need more time than that, we can reassess then. (e.g.:
Scorched Earth and
Fritz who were delayed in starting this round for a month due to vacations)
Brian (
Major BS), thanks for the kind words. Appreciated.

The SFS Tourney has been a lot of fun to organize and hopefully fun for participants. It's certainly had some interesting match-ups and fantastic sitrep threads.
June 1st is the new deadline. Let's try to get er wrapped by then boys.

P.S. - If anyone has an opponent who has dissappeared, please post here and let it be known. Your opponent may see the post that way and respond.
Bioman, I got your email and hope you and
David D. Stewart are in communication.
All SFS players, please be aware of the new
June 1st deadline for completion of this round. Let's wrap em up by then boys.
That would be three and half months allowed for this round, which except for a few cases with legitimate extenuating circumstances, should be more than enough time for completing scenarios of this size.

Thanks for the extension Thor! Jacques and I are on turn 18 of 21 in St. Vith. and we should be done by 6/1 no problem...
Thanks Thor, my opponent and I have been delayed by my work on the Matrix CS release. But we are within 9 turns of finishing and my return rate has improved.
