- How to test a scenario?
- At the Index Page click 'scenario testing area click the link to your ladder of choice.
- Scroll down the page until you find a scenario you would like to test, click the Download button for your chosen scenario and download it to the relevant title.
- Also at the scenario entry ONE of the testers should register the test by clicking the Start test button and enter your opponent's username. Very important that only one of you does this otherwise two games will be shown as being tested!!!
- If there is a Word or text document included with the scenario zip file, make sure you read it before testing as it may have important info on optional rules, tactics etc...
- When you have finished the scenario DO NOT report it as usual, both players should click the Rate Scenario button (back at the scenario entry screen on the right), and fill in the form with all positive and negative comments in as much detail as possible. When you have finished scroll to the bottom and click the Rate Scenario button and the designer will be automatically emailed your comments and be able to adjust the scenario accordingly.
- I will then issue your test ladder points; you will be awarded 10 points per size Modification level, but only if a completed report is submitted. You can always check if your test points have been awarded by checking the bonus section of your member page.
- A scenario requires four scores of 8+ to pass through testing and then can be moved by the designer onto the approved scenario list.

To submit a scenario navigate to the Index Page and click on 'add scenario'. This will take you to the 'add scenario' section. Choose the ladder and game from the drop down menu and fill in the other appropriate details, careful if your mouse has a wheel as using it may change data you have already entered. To finish the submission you need to upload the scenario using the 'file' section. Simply browse to your scenario folder and choose the file (zipped please) you wish to upload. This will enable the playtesters out there to download your file from the Blitz server.
The scenario will immediately go into a holding area and await approval from the relevant ladder Rep. A maximum of 10 scenarios per title are available and a restriction of 5 scenarios per designer is in force. Anymore than 5 scenarios per designer and 10 per title and the excess scenarios will be held in the scenario holding area until a space becomes available.
Once the scenario is moved to the main test page it will be available for playtesters to download. You will be notified of test reports as they come in. An average score of 8 is required for it to be classed as H2H worthy and once 4 or more people rate it 8+ you will be notified by mail that the scenario is ready. It is up to you if you wish to proceed with further testing or else move it to the approved scenario list by using your 'My Scenarios' link, this link is on the Index Page.
When you upload a scenario a new link 'my scenarios' will appear on the Index Page, after you receive test feedback you should use this link to change any aspect of you scenario(s) rather than uploading it again. 'Modify' allows you to change any text and 'update' allows you to replace the old file with a new one.
