Five new SFS Round 1 results just in . . . unfortunately four of them are from ONE match.  

First, in Kasserine, Axis Commander Michael has scored an impressive Major Victory over longtime Blitz CS ace and "Grizzled Vet" Liveline99.    Shawn is one of the toughest, so the tea leaves on Kasserine don't look good.  

Now for some interesting results:

Tank Graveyard has been slow to get moving, but when it does, man does it ever.  Check this out:

5:52 am: unconfirmed reports flutter into HQ that the formittable Allied vet Herr Strasse Laufer (known around these parts as "Blaze" ) has scored a Minor Victory over gritty Axis vet Rebel.

Simultaniously at 5:52:  Another frequency reports that Herr Strasse Laufer actually scored a Major Victory in Tank Graveyard;

Then another squawks in a Minor Victory for the Road Runner.

Finally, one minute later Axis Commander Rebel is awarded the Knight's Cross for scoring a Minor Axis Win.

????

There are four reasonable possiblities:

1) Given the prolificity of these two warriors, they actually played four battles simultaneously, with the RR winning three;

2) Each command tank took a few rounds and their ears have yet to stop ringing (PTSS);

3) Closer examiniation of Blitz records reveals that THIS is how these guys so quickly climbed the CS ladder;

4) Each also plays CM (FMG) and cannot shake the quick-click sydrome, even while recording a game.

Using deductive reasoning, HQ figures the LAST result submitted is likely the true outcome, and credits Axis Vet Rebel with a Minor Win.

If that's true, the running SFS totals to date are:

Minsk:  1 Allied Victory; 1 Axis Victory

Kasserine: 7 Axis Victories; 3 Allied Victories; 1 Draw.

More like the Allied someone, with hand shaking from the last turn Axis powerdrive,  had a solid draw crushed into an Axis minor vic, and through the tears clicked the button too many times when reporting the game?

'Rebommel' played an excellent defensive game throughout. Never allowing me to take control of the field. He grabbed victory in the last turn! I just had too little left to protect one extra victory hex.

Another Kasserine report just in:

The valiant Axis commander "Hammer44" falls victim to a Shark Attack losing a Major Defeat to one of the toughest to

ever strap on CS spurs - "Digger", aka Black Death from Down-Under.  

Thus, the running SFS total now stands:

Minsk 1 Allied win -1 Axis win

Kasserine  7 Axis wins - 4 Allied Wins - 1 Draw.

well i would like to say that the trigger finger  was still in overdrive,when trying to report the battle,  LMAO, i would like to add that my opnt Herr Strabe Laufer  played an excellant game,  it was nick and tuck all game long, that was one of the best played battles i have played in  since joining the  club about 6 yrs ago, thanx Ed for the great game

Axis Commander "hobie" takes a big bite out of tough Blitz Shark "Big Dawg" scoring an Axis Major Victory.  

That brings the running SFS total to:

Kasserine: 8 Axis Wins - 5 Allied Wins - 1 Draw

1)  Tough woodie Axis commander PK Powers chomps Allied "Grizzled Vet" Harald Blauzahn scoring an impressive Axis Major Victory;

2) Mighty "Grizzled Vet" Stryker -- one of the Blitz' best (and most underated players) -- battles back for a Draw on the final turn against classy and rapidly improving Axis Commander Tide1;

(In fact fellas, please note that both of the guys in the match above are pure class if you haven't played them yet.  I have and highly recommend either as PBEM opponents. )  

and

3) Blitz Ace and Allied ubershark McIvan swallows valiant Axis Commander rsa scoring an impressive Allied Major Victory.
